Auchenflower Townhouses & Studios. This 1940s original Queenslander was converted into flats in 1960 and in need of love. We purchased in 2016 and deleted the previous floor plan to suit our business model and best fit more bedrooms and bathrooms per flat. Each Townhouse features twin queen ensuited bedrooms, and both bedrooms have an adjacent sleepout with extra single bed. Whilst downstairs we offer fully self contained Studios with additional sofa bed which boast no communal spaces of any of the four flats.
Located just 4kms (1.8 miles) from Brisbane CBD this is the perfect postion for guests who would like to experience suburban Brisbane living and still have ready access to the city. It is positioned close to Wesley Hospital, Lang Park/Suncorp Stadium and University of Queensland.

Jenny's property was the perfect place for our small family to stay. The house had everything we could possibly need and had a great homely feel. The sleep outs were brilliant for our boys they loved having their own little space but were still close to us. I loved how there were two bathrooms one which included a bath for the kids. There was also a great outdoor area to quietly relax and watch the kids play. Auchenflower is lovely and quiet but you're also still very close to the city and shops. Jenny was fantastic with communication and was so lovely to deal with. We would definitely stay again.

STUDIO REVIEW:
After staying in hotels and self contained apartments across the world, I can honestly say, the Milton Mews studio is one of my favourite places. We initially booked for 5 weeks, however we were so comfortable, we extended for another 4 weeks. Jennifer and the team are absolutely spectacular hosts and I cannot thank them enough for allowing us to be guests in one of their properties. The Studio apartment is spacious with every necessity included, you simply have to move in with your clothes! The location is beautiful, walking distance to the city bus stops as well as beautiful Mt Coot-tha. The vetting process in relation to all guests ensures a peaceful stay for all and to be quite honest, it was much like living next to friendly neighbours.
I cannot recommend the Rylance properties enough and I would urge you to book directly with Jennifer. The rates direct were far more competitive than on other sites, including the availability... it is not a lie, she is available 24/7!! Thank you so Rylance Family!

Sliding doors take you out to the covered pergola with Weber barbeque and outdoor seating. Your backyard is private and fully fenced for children and pet safety. If you are renting both townhouses there is a connecting gate for easy access between both homes. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and excellent quality appliances. Each side has its own washing machine, dryer, outdoor line, iron and spare bar fridge. Keypad entry with 4 digit code. No keys required.
There is 1 offstreet park for each apartment and free street parking.
The twin studios are fully self contained perfect for singles or couples seeking comfort in a quiet space. Each studio has private side access.
There is a full sized bathroom with a front loader washing machine and iron. The kitchenette has a convection builtin hot plate, good sized fridge, convection microwave and breakfast bar for 2. Each side features a remote controlled reverse cycle air conditioner as well as a ceiling fan. There are security bars and privacy blinds on the windows.
Outside the blue studio is a small fenced area with deck and outdoor dining seating for 4. Can be used for pet enclosure as well.
GREAT STUDIO. We have stayed in the red studio for several weeks and enjoyed every moment of it. The place is fabulous you have everything you need and is kept in an excellent condition. Jennifer the owner is a lovely lady and very responsive one when ever we needed her she was there for us. The location is also a benefit. I am surely recommend it to all my friends that need a home in Brisbane.

Calendars are accurate, however it’s always worth asking if your preferred property is available, as some bookings are under our Best Fit Policy. This means guests are willing to move to another home, that may even include moving to another property in our Brisbane network.

Auchenflower is the perfect location for Suncorp Stadium (Lang Park) attendees. Handy base if the city, Wesley Hospital or University of Queensland are among your visit sites. Nearby, Paddington, Rosalie and Milton boast some of the most fabulous cafes and restaurants Brisbane has to offer. Buses leave every 10 mins or so to the city and Fortitude Valley, from 300 m away. Alternatively, Auchenflower train station is a ten minute walk. The Brisbane Botanical Gardens is only a three minute drive (2km) away, and is a stunningly beautiful location for a picnic or walk through the 56 hectares of gardens. One of the top 3 Brisbane visitor sites is just up the hill. Mount Coot-tha offers an impressive panoramic view of Brisbane and is a great spot for a bite to eat, either at the cafe or Summit Restaurant. |
PARKING: There is offstreet parking for 4 cars - 1 per unit.
DISPOSABLES: We supply a few starter disposables as a complementary service. These are not renewed during your stay.
LINEN: The linen package includes - sheets, pillow slips, bath towels, face washers, hand towels, bathmats, tea towels. If you choose to supply your own..... we will supply you with pillows, pillow/mattress protectors, doonas, blankets at no extra charge.
SERVICING: If you would like to engage our cleaners for linen change or house clean during a longer stay, please ask for a quote. All homes include washing facilities, some basic cleaning products, vacuum, broom, mop, dustpan. Full laundry with front loader washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
PETS: We can't say we are a family friendly business if we dont include your pets. We do have conditions of course, please ask for more information. Sorry, but no pets in season or excessive hair shedders. Not permitted in the carpeted areas nor on furniture. YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEM!
